Kasthuri v. State Rep By
Crl.M.P.No.7850 of 2023 in Crl.O.P.No.11885 of 2023 V.LAKSHMINARAYANAN.J., The petitioner was earlier granted anticipatory bail by this court on certain conditions by order dated 26.05.2023 in Crl.O.P.No.11885 of 2023.
2. This miscellaneous petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to modify one of the conditions viz., clause (d) of Para 8 of the order on the ground that the petitioner, being a lady of 52 years old, could not travel such a long distance and stay there in order to comply with the conditions imposed on her.
3. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the other facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to modify the condition to the effect that instead of reporting before the Madurai Town Police Station every day at 10.30 a.m. for a period of four weeks and before the respondent police every fortnight for interrogation, the petitioner shall report before the Inspector of Police, CSCID, Dharmapuri, daily at 10.30 a.m. for a period of four weeks and thereafter she shall report before the respondent police as and when required by them for interrogation. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
