ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to cancel the death certificate No. D 2025-33-16482-000049, dated 22.03.2025.
2. This is a conflict between two wives of one Kaleswaran, who died on 25.05.2024. It is the case of the petitioner that she is the only lawfully wedded wife. The place of death and the name of the wife were wrongly mentioned by the fourth respondent and the impugned certificate was erroneously issued. The petitioner also relies upon the earlier communication issued on 24.07.2024.
3. In view of the nature of the relief sought and without deciding any of the allegations made, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. 2/4
4. The first respondent shall take up the representation made by the petitioner on 17.04.2025 for enquiry. The first respondent shall issue notice to both the petitioner and the fourth respondent, decide the issue in the manner known to law and pass final orders thereon. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of the web copy of the order, without waiting for the certified copy.
5. In view thereof, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 30.04.2025 nsl To 1.
