ORDER
(1) Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.
(2) The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a mandamus seeking a direction to the respondent/Tahsildar, Sholinganallur Taluk, to survey the land of the petitioner in S.No.417/16 measuring about 11 cents in S.Kulathur Village, Sholinganallur Taluk and also fix the boundaries by erecting stone poles.
(3) The petitioner had given an application on 30.03.2021 in this regard and also paid necessary charges through challan. However, the grievance expressed by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the respondent/Tahsildar https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
had not taken any effective steps necessitating the petitioner to file the present writ seeking a mandamus in that regard.
(4) A mandamus is issued, directing the respondent/Tahsildar, to consider the representation dated 30.03.2021 particularly since the petitioner had also paid necessary charges, examine the petitioner, inspect the property of the petitioner along with the authorised Surveyor and thereafter proceed to measure the property of the petitioner and do the needful including fixing boundaries. The entire exercise by the respondent/Tahsildar should be completed within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
(5) With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
