Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to transfer the patta in respect of the property situated at Old survey no. 211/9 New TSLR No. 68/1, Thiruvanmiyur Village,Vellachery Taluk, Chennai 600041 from the name of Shri Chandrasekaran Chettiar to petitioner herein name, by consdiering the petitioners representation dated 07.04.2026 and will executed by Late.Chandrasekar Chettiar in favour of petitioner vide Will bearing Doc no.57/1988 dated 05.09.1988 and pass.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.04.2026.
2. Mr.M.Guruprasad, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed a representation dated 07.04.2026 before the respondents, requesting for transfer of patta, pertaining to the subject property to the name of the petitioner. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondents till date. Hence, this petition.
5. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation will be disposed of within a period of 8 weeks and hence, she requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.
6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.
7. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.04.2026 and after issuing due notice to all the concerned parties, dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
