ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of a Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.02.2026.
2. The case of the petitioner is that she submitted a representation dated 26.02.2026 before the 3rd respondent seeking to disburse the salary arrears for 48 months due to the petitioners' deceased husband together with interest at 12 percent per annum and to facilitate settlement of EPF, EPS pension and EDLI benefits to the petitioner and to settle all terminal benefits including gratuity and other service benefits payable to the petitioner. However, the same has not yet been considered by the 3rd respondent. Challenging the inaction on the part of the 3rd respondent, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader (P) appearing for the respondents.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for both sides, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.02.2026 seeking disbursement of her husband's salary arrears and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
