ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to register a case on the complaint dated 08.08.2016, given by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint given by the petitioner to the Commissioner of Police, Tiruppur District, has been referred to the second respondent-police for enquiry.

4. The dispute essentially appears to be between father and son. Under such circumstances, the second respondent-police is directed to expeditiously conduct the enquiry in accordance with law or close the case under intimation to the petitioner. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
