2. This petition has been filed seeking transfer of case in Crime No.403 of 2013 on the file of the 4th respondent to the first respondent for investigation and to file final report within the time stipulated by this Court.

3. It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that investigation in this case has been completed and charge sheet has been filed as early as on 5.8.2014 before the Judicial Magistrate III, Salem, the case is yet to be taken on file.

4. In view of the same, nothing further survives in this petition for adjudication and hence the same is dismissed. Consequently, connected M.P.No.1 of 2014 is closed.

5. Learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Salem is directed to verify from the Judicial Magistrate III, Salem the reason for not taking the case on file from 5.8.2014 and to send a report the reason for the same to the Registry within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
