The petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking direction to direct the respondents to pay pension, Gratuity, P.F. And other terminal benefits to the petitioner for the service rendered.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner retired form Transport Corporation. Even after the retirement, pension and terminal benefits were not paid to the petitioner, Hence the present Writ Petition is filed.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice to issue direction to the respondents to settle the retirement benefits within a reasonable period of time. 4 Mr. Rajani Ramadoss, learned Standing counsel for the respondents himself admitted that the respondents are willing to pay the retirement benefits within stipulated time. The said statement is recorded.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents are directed to pay the retirement benefits within a period of twelve weeks (12) from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
