Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second to fourth respondents police to provide necessary police protection for the removal of encroachments affecting the petitioner's school premises situated at Thellore Village, Anaikattu Taluk, Vellore District bearing survey No.338/2 and measuring 0.08.000 hectares, while the petitioner removing the encroachment and put up compound wall.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for seeking police protection to remove the encroachment affecting the petitioner's school premises comprised in survey No.338/2, ad measuring 0.08.000 hectares, situated at Thellore Village, Anaikattu Taluk, Vellore District. 2.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.

The police protection can be granted only for a person's life

and liberty. Therefore, the petitioner ought to have approached the Civil Court for appropriate relief to remove the encroachment and the directions sought for in this petition cannot be granted. 4.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
