ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to investigate the case and file the final report in the Crime No. 117 of 2018 which is pending on the file of the second respondent.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in the Crime No.117 of 2018 on 18.04.2014, no final report is filed till date.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the investigation is in progress and respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of two months.
4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to file a final report, as the case may be, within a period of two months from the date of 2/4
receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
