2/5 PRAYER Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to dispose of petitioner appeal dated 12.08.2024 filed against the order of the 4th respondent dated 30.07.2024 and further to direct the 4th respondent to transfer the patta in the name of the petitioner in so far as the land comprised in Old Survey No.21/3 and New Survey No.21/3B3 measuring 72 cents situated in Thiruvanchery Village, Tambaram Taluk, Chengalpattu District, based on the sale deeds dated 23.12.2019 registered as Document Nos.11339/2019 and 11340/2019 on the file of SRO, Pallavaram admeasuring 72 cents.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 3 rd respondent to pass orders on the appeal filed by the petitioner on 12.08.2024 which was filed against the order passed by the 4 th respondent dated 30.07.2024, wherein, the request made by the petitioner to transfer the patta in his name insofar as the subject property is concerned, was rejected.

3/5 2.Heard Mr.Silambanan, learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners and Mr.R.P.Muruganraja, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 3 rd respondent to deal with the appeal filed by the petitioner on 12.08.2024, on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass final orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
