ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to complete the enquiry and to file final report in crime No.69 of 2024. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Govt. Advocate (Crl.side) appearing on behalf of the respondent.
3.The petitioner lodged a complaint before the respondent police but the respondent police failed to register the same. Hence, the petitioner approached the XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai by filing a private complaint. Pursuant to the direction issued thereon, the respondent police registered a case in crime No.69 of 2024 but final report is yet to be filed. 4.The learned Govt. Advocate (Crl.side) submits that in this case, investigation almost completed and final report would be filed within a period of one month.
5.In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
