ORDER

This Petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been called for by the respondent, constantly, even at odd hours and thereby causing harassment to the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent would submit that two cases have been registered as against the petitioner. One is Crime No.162 of 2021 for the offence under section 354-D of IPC and Section 67 of Information Technology Act, another one is Crime No.184 of 2021 for the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

offence under Section 294(b), 341, 392& 506(ii) of IPC, and the petitioner is arrayed as A2 in both the cases. Hence, the presence of the petitioner is required for the purpose of investigation. Eventhough the respondent police called the petitioner to appear for enquiry before the respondent, he had failed to appear.

4. Considering the submissions and the materials available on records, it is seen that the petitioner is arrayed as accused in two crime numbers, and hence, he was called for enquiry, which cannot be termed as harassment. Hence, this Court is not inclined to allow the petition.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
