.. Respondent Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying to direct the respondent herein to register the complaint given by the petitioner on 22.01.2016 and proceed to investigate the same in accordance with law.

ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction, directing the respondent police to register a case on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner on 22.01.2016 and proceed to investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a complaint to the respondent police on 22.01.2016, but, however, the respondent police had not taken any steps to enquire the matter and to register a case and hence, the petitioner has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief.

3. At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, a case has been registered in Crime No.49 of 2016 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) IPC.

4. Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report, as expeditiously as possible.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
