By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner has sought for writ of Mandamus to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 22.06.2015 for granting pension arrears and other benefits for the period from 01.01.2014 to 30.11.2014.
3. The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as a driver in the respondent management on 16.06.1986. During the course of employment, he suffered injury in an accident. So, the respondent discharged the petitioner from his service on medical invalidation. However, the petitioner was given an alternative employment based on the order of this Court in W.P.No.19928 of 2005 dated 11.07.2015 and he retired from service on 31.12.2013.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent has not settled the pensionary arrears with benefits for the period from 01.01.2014 to 30.11.2014. The petitioner has also given a representation in this regard to the respondent on 22.06.2015. But the same was not considered till date. Hence, the present writ petition.
5. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

This Court considering the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 22.06.2015 and pass order on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
