ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence punishable under Section 4 of the Tamilnadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 and section 506(1) of IPC in Crime No.5 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had one side love with the defacto complainant. Further, he contacted the bridegroom of the defacto complainant and spoken ill of her character by showing the photographs and messages, due to which the marriage of the defacto complainant was cancelled. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that he has not committed any such offence as alleged by the prosecution and she has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the the petitioner had one side love with the defacto complainant. Further, he contacted the bridegroom of the defacto complainant and spoken ill of her character by showing the photographs and messages, due to which the marriage of the defacto complainant was cancelled. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the considering the gravity of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. -sd/- 06/09/2021 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
