Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent 1 to 3 to provide adequate protection to the lives and liberty of the petitioner, husband Manimaran and the family members of the petitioners representation dated 29.10.2015 within the time fixed by this Honourable court.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2.The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate protection to the lives and liberty of the petitioner, her husband Manimaran and their family members based on the petitioner's representation dated 29.10.2015. 3.The petitioner belongs to Most Backward Caste (Vanniyar) and studying II year BCA in AVC Arts and Science College, Myladuthurai. The petitioner's date of birth is 12.05.1997 and she attained majority and she fell in love with one Manimaran S/o.Mathiyazhagan who is aged about 23 years. The said Manimaran has completed B.Sc.(Physics) and DFSE degrees and at present he is working in a private concern. He belongs to Scheduled Caste community. The petitioner's parents vehemently opposed the petitioner's love and she was subjected to severe beating by her father the fourth respondent herein and her uncle the fifth respondent herein.
4.It is further stated that now the petitioner's parents and relatives particularly the fourth and fifth respondents are arranging her marriage with some other person and hence, the petitioner left her house and came to the house of the said Manimaran and the marriage between the petitioner and Manimaran was solemnized on 26.01.2015 at Sri Thandu Thulukkathamman Koil, Salai Vinayagar Koil Street, Muthiyalpet, Chennai and the said marriage was also registered on the same day at the office of the District Registrar, Chennai North in Marriage SI No.4622 of 2015.
5.It is further stated that in the circumstances, the petitioner's father and uncle, the fourth and fifth respondents herein had engaged hooligans to finish of their life. The petitioner's father Mr.Sanjeevinathan has also lodged false complaint to the third respondent Police Station as if the petitioner's husband Manimaran kidnapped the petitioner and kept the petitioner in his custody which is totally false and the petitioner married Manimaran on her own wish. 6.It is further stated that if the fourth and fifth respondents and their hooligans find out the whereabouts of the petitioner and her husband, they will finish off their lives. Hence, she made a representation dated 29.10.2015 to the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to her,
her husband and their family members and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition. 7.Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader. 8.Considering the factual aspects, this Court directs the third respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 29.10.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders with regard to the providing of adequate police protection to the lives and liberty of the petitioner, her husband Manimaran and their family members within a period of three days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
