Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to call for the records in D.V.C No.13 of 2013 on the file of the XV Metropolitan Magistrate Court, George Town at Madras and quash the same.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to call for the records in D.V.C No.13 of 2013 on the file of the XV Metropolitan Magistrate Court, George Town at Madras and quash the same.

2. It is seen that when the matter was posted on 28.01.2014 "For Admission", the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner took an adjournment and the matter was adjourned to 30.01.2014. Thereafter, the matter was listed only on 05.07.2017 and the learned counsel obtained adjournment stating that settlement is going on between the parties, but thereafter the petitioner has no interest to pursue the matter. Further it is pending without even ordering notice. At this stage, this petition cannot be considered and this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.

3. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
