ORDER

The petitioner made a representation dated 01.10.2015 to the second respondent seeking to issue a legal heir certificate to the effect that he is the legal heir of his brother, viz., Mr.Lakshmanan. As the said request is pending consideration, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

Considering the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.10.2015 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
