By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage.

The petitioner has made a representation on 16.10.2015 seeking change of name. As the said representation has not been considered, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition. 3.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondent rightly submitted that the proper course for the petitioner is to make an application enclosing all the documents in support of the name change.

In view of the same, the writ petition stands disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to submit an application in a prescribed format enclosing relevant documents in support of the name change. As and when such an application is received, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondent shall take into consideration of the same and take appropriate action within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
