Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the entire records connected with the order of the 2nd respondent herein concerned in Cr.M.P.No.15/2021 dated 12.07.2021 and quash the order of detention passed therein by the 2nd respondent herein against the detenu and directing the respondents herein to produce the body and person of the detenu by name Muthukumar, son of Thiruvalluvan, aged about 31 years, now detained at the Central Prison, Thiruchirappalli, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

ORDER

[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in Cr.M.P.No.15/2021 dated 12.07.2021 detaining her husband as "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.4004, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XV) Department, dated 31.08.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
