ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.1357 of 2015 and file the final report within a reasonable time.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he has lodged a complaint with the respondent police as against one Perumal and others and the same was registered in Crime No.1357 of 2015. Though the said complaint was registered in the year 2015, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.

3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.1357 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final report, if not already filed, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of eight weeks from the date of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

receipt of a copy of this order. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
