This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to give police protection to the petitioner and his family by considering petitioner representation letter dated 01/10/2020.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for police protection based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 01.10.2020.

The case of the petitioner is that his son developed a love affair with one Saktheeswari alias Silpa. This was opposed by the parents of the girl and threat was exerted against the petitioner and his family members. The petitioner, therefore, gave a complaint before the first respondent police on 01.10.2020. Since the same was not acted upon, the present petition has been filed seeking for appropriate directions. 3.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondents 1 and 2.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of grievance expressed by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to call the concerned parties and also the petitioner for an enquiry and ensure that no threat is exerted by any of the parties and shall direct the parties to work out their remedy in the manner known to law.
