PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records in Cr.M.P.No.29/GOONDA/2025 dated 09.04.2025 on the file of the District Magistrate and District Collector, Tiruppur District, Tiruppur, the second respondent herein and quash the same as illegal and direct the respondents to produce the detenu, Ajithkumar, S/o.Murugan, aged about 29 years, now confined at Central Prison, Coimbatore, before this Court and set him at liberty.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.2828, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XII) Department, dated 19.05.2025, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
