Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to refund the Rs.10,00,000/- payable to the petitioner towards refundable security deposit in the account of the petitioner's Solar Power Plant HTSC No.069534400008.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents to refund a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- being the refundable security deposit made by the petitioner for the purpose of the commissioning of Solar Power Plant.

2. It is not in dispute that the petitioner has commissioned the solar power plant and it is working. Mr.D.R.Arukumar, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents confirms the liability of the second respondent to refund the amount to the petitioner.

3. Considering the same, there will be a direction to the second respondent to refund the security deposit to the petitioner with appropriate interest as provided in the contract within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
