Respondent PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the office of the learned I Additional Judge, City Civil Court at Chennai to issue all the copies of documents filed by respondents in S.C.No.148 of 2017 along with the charge sheet in S.C.No.148 of 2017 before Hon'ble Court at the cost of petitioner's herein, pending disposal of the main case.

ORDER
The grievance of the petitioners is that since the petitioners are to assist the prosecution which is kept pending, it is unable to obtain the copies of the document filed in support of the charge sheet in S.C.No.148 of 2017 on the file of the learned I Additional Judge, City Civil Court at Chennai. It is seen that though the petition to assist the prosecution has been filed on 22.09.2017, the same is kept pending.
2. In my view, the petitioners who are the defacto complainants will be proper persons to assist the prosecution. As such, the petitioners herein are permitted to assist the prosecution under Section 301(2) of Cr.P.C.

3. In view of the above observations, the petitioners are granted liberty to make an appropriate application before the I Additional City Civil Court, Chennai seeking for the required documents, annexed to the charge sheet and on receipt of the same, the Registrar of the I Additional City Civil Court, Chennai shall endeavour to supply the same as expeditiously, in any case within a period of one week from the date of receipt of such representation.
4. With the above observations, the criminal original petition stands disposed of.
