..Respondent(s) Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to issue patta in favour of the legal heirs of Late Muniyappa for the remaining extent of 0.15 cents of land in survey Nos.3/5 and 4/1 of Karibasavanapuram Village, Kelavarapalli Firka, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District, in the light of the order passed by the Tahsildar in Na.Ka.No.6270/2024/G1 dated 26.02.2025, by considering the petitioner's representation in No.9275749 dated 05.08.2024. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.08.2024.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representation dated 05.08.2024 to issue patta in favour of the legal heirs of Late Muniyappa for the remaining extent of 0.15 cents of land in survey Nos.3/5 and 4/1 of Karibasavanapuram Village, Kelavarapalli Firka, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District, in the light of the order passed by the Tahsildar in Na.Ka.No.6270/2024/G1 dated 26.02.2025. However, the same was not considered, as on date. Hence, this writ petition.
3. Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, learned Government's Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 05.08.2024 will be considered within a period of twelve weeks.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
5. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case,
directs the third respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 05.08.2024 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
