The petitioner herein alleging police is harassing him on the complaint given by the 3rd respondent is before this Court seeking protection from harassment.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the 3rd respondent has given a complaint stating that the petitioner herein has sold a property to the complainant based on forged document and therefore, the petitioner was called for enquiry to find out whether any prima facie material available for registering the complaint. Instead of appearing before the police to participate in the enquiry, the petitioner has approached this Court as if the police is harassing him.

This Court on perusing the complaint of the 3rd respondent finds that there is a prima facie material to register a case and investigate whether any forgery committed by the petitioner. The police cannot be prevented from conducting enquiry. Hence this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
