This application has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 30 days in filing the petition under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, challenging the impugned arbitral award dated 30.09.2024 passed against the applicant in favour of the respondent.

2. As directed by this Court, the Registry has printed the name of the respondent in the cause list today. Mr.M.R.Mohamed Afsar, learned counsel for the respondent would submit that he has filed Vakalat on behalf of the respondent yesterday (13.08.2025). No counter has been filed in this application.

3. This Court is satisfied with the reasons contained in the affidavit filed in support of this application as sufficient cause has been shown by the applicant. Accordingly, this application is allowed as prayed for.
