The prayer sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petition made by the petitioner for his promotion to the post of Clerk in the respondent bank for which he made a representation to the 1st respondent, dated 10.03.2009.

Considering the statement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has already been working in the post of Clerk in the respondent bank as on 24.09.2009, nothing survives for consideration and no further adjudication is required to be made in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
