ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to register a case on the complaint dated 27.06.2016 and to investigate the matter.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. On the complaint given by one Vasnthi, the respondentpolice registered a case in Crime No.362 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 506 (i) IPC and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002, against this petitioner. As a counter blast, the petitioner has given the present complaint dated 27.06.2016. Hence, no positive direction can be given to the second respondent-police to register an FIR.

With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
