ORDER
With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This writ petition is filed to direct the third respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner herein for the properties situate in Madhampattu Village, Thiruvennainallur Taluk, Villupuram District within time frame to be stipulated by this Court based on the Settlement Deed in Doc.No.70 of 2020.
3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
4. The case of the petitioner is that the subject property has been originally purchased by the father of the petitioner and he settled the same in favour of the petitioner vide registered settlement deed dated 09.01.2020. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has given a representations to the 2/5
respondents for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner. However, the respondents have not taken any action in this regard. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.12.2023 and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
