Respondent PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of notification dated 07.06.2016 in proceedings No.Va.Aa.No. 114/ 2016/ sa.ma.thou.a/ Tirupur and Kopu No.A2/2068/2016 on the file of respondent, published in "Dinnathanthi" Tamily daily newspaper dated 08.06.2016 and quash the same and to forbearing the respondent authorities from interring the petitioner peaceful possession of the shop bearing No.28 situated at old bus stand, Tiruppur, Tiruppur District.

O R D E R

Mr.K.Myilsamy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that as per the demand made by the respondent, the petitioner has agreed and also paid the enhanced monthly rent fixed by the respondent as well as the caution deposit. The said fact is also admitted by the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the respondent.

2. In view of the above fact that the petitioner has paid the enhanced monthly rent as well as the caution deposit, as demanded by the respondent, the respondent is directed to extend https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the lease period in favour of the petitioner, for a period of three years, initially, as per G.O.Ms. No.92 Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department dated 03.07.2007 and the respondent shall also enter into lease agreements with the petitioner, based on the new lease amount.

3.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
