The petitioner was originally given licence to sell crackers. By the order, dated 26.09.2014, the licence given to the petitioner was cancelled by the second respondent. The petitioner has filed an appeal against the said order, which is pending consideration before the Additional Secretary-cum
District Revenue Commissioner, Chepuak, Chennai, which is seen from the proceedings dated 14.10.2015. Now, the petitioner has filed the above writ petition seeking temporary licence to sell crackers at the petitioner's premises bearing D.No.27, Market Street, Ariyalur, so as to enable him to sell crackers for the ensuing Deepawali Festival.
2.
The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has made reliance upon the earlier order passed by this Court in W.P.No.27990 of 2014 and the said order has also been complied with by the second respondent by order dated 21.10.2014.
3. What the petitioner seeks is only a temporary licence to sell crackers during Deepawali festival. Thus, taking note of the earlier order dated 20.10.2014 made in 27990 of 2014 as well as the consequential order passed by the second respondent on 21.10.2014, the said authority is directed to give temporary licence to sell crackers to the petitioner for a period of one week, starting from 08.11.2015 to 14.11.2015, subject to the other conditions as passed in the earlier order dated 21.10.2015.
