PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records relating to the award dated 16.07.2013 in I.D.No.182 of 2008 on the file of the 1st Additional Labour Court, Chennai and quash the same. ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the dispute has been amicably resolved among themselves and they have handed over a demand draft for Rs.4,25,000/-, as compensation to the second respondent, towards full and final settlement of the dues covered under the impugned award in I.D.No.182 of 2008 on the file of the I Additional Labour Court, Chennai.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the second respondent also ratifies that the receipt of the said amount is towards full and final settlement.
