ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to issue direction to the Principal Sessions Court, Chennai to furnish the certified copies of the materials, as sought by the petitioner in C.A.No.9471 dated 17.04.2025.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.
3. Since no adverse order is being passed against the respondent, notice to the respondent is dispensed with.
4. A perusal of records shows that the respondent has filed appeal in Crl.A.No.82 of 2025 before the Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai. Therefore, the petitioner filed a copy application to furnish certified copies stating that "certified copies of all the petitions, applications and documents filed by the appellant in Crl.A.No.82 of 2025. The learned Judge, trial Court made endorsement that "this is an e-filed case. Hence, no petition available. Hence, 2/6
C.A. returned". Thereafter, when the petitioner re-presented the same, it was returned stating that "description of document to be mentioned correctly. Documents needed should be mentioned particularly with date of document. Purpose of C.A. to be mentioned". Hence, the present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking direction to the learned Principal Sessions Court, Chennai.
5. It is to be noted that, except the order copy of the lower Court and the memorandum of revision in case of revision or memorandum of appeal in case of appeal, no other document would be filed.
6. In this case, appeal has been filed. Therefore, no document is available in the appellate Court. Even in the copy application, the nomenclature of the document has not been mentioned. He has only mentioned "certified copies of all the petitions, applications and documents filed by the appellant in Crl.A.No.82 of 2025". Except the memorandum of appeal, no other documents have been filed. Under these circumstances, there is no merits in this petition.
