ORDER

Heard Mr.A.D.Janarthanan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.R.Dhilipkumar, learned counsel, who accepts notice for the respondents and with the consent of parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner seeks for a direction to provide electricity service connection in his name in respect of the premises at No.18/16 Anantha Krishnan Street Choolai Chennai 600 112.

The petitioner would state that the Executive Officer of the temple has given a No Objection Certificate in his favour for securing electricity service connection and in spite of having produced the certificate and remitted the sum of Rs.2420/- to the second respondent, till date electricity service connection has not been given to the said property.

4. The learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the second respondent may verify full facts from the temple and thereafter he may be directed to take a decision in the matter.

5. In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's application, taking note of the No Objection Certificate given by the Executive Officer of the said temple and proceed in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is open to the second respondent to verify the details from the concerned temple.
