ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to issue direction to the Principal Sessions Court, Chennai to furnish the certified 1/5

copies of the materials, as sought by the petitioner in C.A.No.9471 +dated 17.04.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

3. Since no adverse order is being passed against the respondent, notice to the respondent is dispensed with.

4. A perusal of the records shows that the respondent has filed a revision in Crl.RC.No.23/2025 before Principal District and Sessions Judge, Chennai. Therefore, the petitioner filed a copy application to furnish certified copies stating that "certified copies of all the petitions and the documents filed by the appellant in Crl.R.C.No.23 of 2025. The Judge, trial Court made endorsement that "this is an e-filed case. No petitions available. Hence, C.A. returned". Thereafter, when the petitioner re-presented the same, it was returned stating that "documents needed to be mentioned particularly with date of document. Blanks in C.A. to be filed. Purpose for need of document to be mentioned". 2/5

5. It is to be noted that, except the order copy of the lower Court and also the memorandum of revision in case of revision or memorandum of appeal in case of appeal, no other document would be filed.

6. In this case, only revision has been filed. Therefore, no document is available in the revisional Court. Even in the copy application, the nomenclature of the document has not been mentioned. He has only stated as "certified copies of all the petitions and the documents filed by the appellant in Crl.R.C.No.23 of 2025". Except the memorandum of revision petition, no other documents have been available. Under these circumstances, there is no merits in this petition.
