This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate for speedy disposal of the case in C.C.No.445 of 2019. 1/4
2. It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that, petitioner is the 4th accused in C.C.No.445 of 2019. The case is pending from the year 2019. So far, none of the witnesses was examined. Therefore, present petition is filed.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that, there is no regular Presiding Officer in the Judicial Magistrate Court at Salem and the Court is vacant for long days.
4. Considering the fact that the case in C.C.No.445 of 2019 is pending from the year 2019, this Court directs the Incharge Magistrate, who is placed as full additional charge of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Salem to dispose the case in C.C.No.445 of 2019 as expeditiously as possible.
5. With the above observations and direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
