Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for the issuance of writ of mandamus, to call for the records of the 2nd respondent leading to the grant of license vide proceedings bearing Na.Ka.No.A7/1655/2013 dated 5.2.2014 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent herein to call for fresh tender in respect of Shop bearing No.657 situated at No.60, Geenis Road, Saidapet, Chennai - 15.

When the matter was called today, it is represented by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 & 2 that the Shop No.657 situated at No.60, Geenis Road, Saidapet, Chennai - 15 has been closed, pursuant to the orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in regulating the running of Tasmac shops in Highways. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.In view of the same, the petitioner may not have any further grievance. Hence, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
