ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader, for respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.L.Jai Venkatesh, learned counsel for respondents 4 and 5.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions of Revenue Tahsildar, Kangeyam, submits that no permission has been given by the Revenue Department to any company or individual for setting up of chicken slaughter house on the subject land. Investigation has revealed that no permission has been obtained from the Pollution Control Board and the district administration and no

establishment has been started at the said place till date.

3. In view of the status report, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, WMP No.16691 of 2022 is closed.
