ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by Dr.Anita Sumanth J.) The father of M.Kavyashri (detenue) has approached this Court by way of this habeas corpus petition.

2. It is his submission that that the detenue has been missing since 30.03.2026 and despite his compliants to the authorities that she has been abducted by R3, no proper action has been taken by them.

3. We had, on the earlier occasions, directed the authorities to secure the detenue as well as R3 and they were present in Court yesterday i.e., 01.06.2026. The detenue was categoric that she has married R3 and that she does not wish to return to her parental home. Since the petitioner and his wife had directed to speak to the detenue, we had adjourned the matter to today.

4. Even today, the detenue is categoric that she does not wish to return to her parental home and the petitioner and his wife have resigned to her decision. The age of the detenue is 20 years and her date of birth is 05.03.2026.
