Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations and consequently conduct survey, effect subdivision of the land in Survey No.678/1C situated at Gujjarahalli Village, Palacode Taluk, Dharmapuri District measuring 50 ares, 1 acre and issue separate patta to the petitioner for her half share of 25 ares 50 cents within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court. 1/5

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property more fully described in the prayer to this Writ Petition, and also to issue a separate patta in favour of the petitioner, based on her on-line application, dated 28.06.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Since the aforesaid petitioner's on-line application has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

3. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the third respondent is directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition, after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land 2/5

owners as well as any third party whom they deem fit and thereafter, issue a separate patta to the petitioner, if she is entitled to be issued, in her name for the subject property.

Accordingly, this Court directs the third respondent to complete the survey and demarcation of boundaries of the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition, based on the petitioner's online application, dated 28.06.2025, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner, and after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners and any other third party, whom the third respondent deem it fit to enquire. Thereafter, if the petitioner is found to be eligible, the third respondent shall issue a separate patta for the sub-divided property in favour of the petitioner. The third respondent is directed to complete the aforesaid exercise, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 28.04.2026 Index : yes/no Speaking order/Non-speaking order : yes/no grs 3/5
