The prayer sought for in the present petition is to transfer the investigation in Crime No.509 of 2016 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Mayiladuthurai to the Inspector of Police, CBCID, Nagapattinam.

2. Though, the petitioner has sought for prayer to transfer the investigation to some other Investigating Authority the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted he would be satisfied if the respondent police is directed to investigate into the matter and file a final report.

3. In view of the same, there shall be a direction to the respondent police herein to file a final report after due investigation in Crime No.509 of 2016 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. With the above observations and directions, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
