(CR.NO.26/2013) Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to (i) To suspend the sentence imposed on the petitioner/Appellant by the learned Sessions Judge, Karaikal in Special Sessions case No.07/2016 dated 29.11.2017 and enlarge him on bail, pending disposal of the above Crl.A.No.411/2018 Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.V.SATHISH, Advocate for the petitioners, and of M/S.G.RAMAR, Advocate, on behalf of the Respondents the court made the following order:- This is the second petition seeking suspension of sentence and bail. The first petition filed in Crl.MP.No.9475 of 2018 was dismissed on 26.10.2018.

2. The petitioner has been convicted and sentenced to undergo 10 years Rigorous Imprisonment under Section 6 of the POCSO Act.

3. On a reading of the statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C., and the evidence of the victim girl, it is seen that she has clearly implicated the petitioner herein in the offence. The victim girl was only aged about 12 years at the time of incident. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Under such circumstances, this Court does not find any sufficient reason to grant suspension of sentence and release the petitioner on bail. Hence, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed.
