ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to sanction financial incentive of Rs.2,50,000/- to the petitioners under the "Dr.Ambedkar Scheme for social integration through Inter-caste marriages".

2. Mr.M.Ramamoorthy, learned Central Government Standing counsel accepts notice for respondents 1 and 2. In view of the consent expressed by learned counsel on either side, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.It is the case of the petitioners that during the month of December, 2017 she applied for financial incentive of Rs.2,50,000/- under the scheme for social integration through Inter-Caste marriages before the second respondent. Since the said application was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed. Page No.2 of 6

Though very many grounds has been raised in the above writ petition, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the second respondent to sanction financial incentive of Rs.2,50,000/- to the petitioners and pass appropriate orders within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

5. The learned counsel for the second respondent submitted that since the office of the second respondent was shifted to another location, the petitioners' application was not available with them. Hence, if the petitioner sends a copy of the application along with all the necessary documents to the second respondent, the same will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed.

6. In the light of the submission made by learned counsel appearing for the second respondent, this Court directs the petitioners to send a copy of her application along with all the necessary documents and also a copy of this order to the second respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt Page No.3 of 6

of the said application, the second respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks thereafter.
