This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 569 days in filing the above civil miscellaneous appeal against the judgement and decree dated 26.06.2023 made in MA.C.T.O.P.No.152 of 2022 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal No.1, Special District Court, Thiruvallur.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.K.J.Sivakumar, learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent.

3. The reasons adduced in the affidavit filed in support of this petition being satisfactory, this petition stands ordered and consequently, the delay of 569 days in filing the above appeal is condoned, subject to the condition that the petitioners will not be entitled to any interest for the delay period i.e., for 569 days, in the appeal.

4. Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the case for admission in due course.
