The representation of the petitioner regarding missing document not been disposed of. Hence, present petition seeking direction in the nature of Mandamus.

2. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) states that two representations which have been sent by post, not been followed by the petitioner herein by furnishing the necessary particulars to conduct probe on the complaint of document missing.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the Commissioner of Police has issued a circular detailing standing operative procedure in recording investigation of complaint about the missing of original documents. If the petitioner provides all the necessary information, the respondent will act upon the representations.

4. In the light of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner herein to appear in person and produce necessary information 2/4

as required by the police for making enquiry. On such furnishing of particulars, police shall proceed in accordance with the circular of the Superintendent of Police and pass necessary orders. No costs. 13.06.2024 Index : Yes/No Speaking/Non speaking Order gv To
