The prayer sought for in the present petition is to call for the records and quash the FIR.No.1683 of 2016, dated 24.12.2016, on the file of the 1st respondent police.
2. It is submitted that, pending Criminal Original Petition, the petitioner and the 2nd respondent/defacto complainant have amicably resolved the dispute between themselves.
3. Both the learned counsel have identified the de-facto complainant, who is present before this Court today. In order to identify the petitioner and the de-facto complainant, they have submitted the photo copies of their Aadhar Cards viz., T.Anbarasu - TN01 19950007080 and A.Reka - 266314501186 and after verification of the original, the same are recorded. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. Today, an Affidavit dated 29.08.2017 was also filed by the 2nd respondent/defacto complainant to the effect that she has no objection to quash the proceedings in FIR.No.1683 of 2016 on the file of the first respondent police.
5. Recording the same, the proceedings in FIR.No.1683 of 2016 on the file of the first respondent police is quashed. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
6. The Affidavit filed by the 2nd respondent/defacto complainant dated 29.08.2017 shall form part of the order. Sd/- Asst.Registrar (CS III ) /true copy/ Sub Asst. Registrar nmm To 1.The Inspector of Police, K-1, Sembium Police Station, Chennai.
