(Third defendant impleaded as per Order dated 30.06.2025 in A.No.5123 of 2024) .. Defendants Civil Suit filed under Order VII Rules 1 and 2 CPC read with Order 4 Rule 1 of the Original Side Rules of this Court praying to pass a judgment and decree as follows:
(a) Direct the defendants to jointly and severally pay a sum of Rs.1,00,10,000/- (Rupees one Crore Ten thousand only) to the plaintiff towards damages;
(b) grant permanent injunction restraining the defendants, their men and agents from any manner telecasting, printing, publishing or propagating any article, defamatory and scandalous against the plaintiff; and (c) to pay costs.

JUDGMENT
When the suit is taken up for hearing, both sides' learned counsel are present with their respective parties and they have filed Joint Memo of Compromise, dated 15.12.2025 and the same has been signed by the parties and their respective counsel.

2. This Court also enquired the parties and perused the terms of compromise and the parties have also agreed to the terms of compromise.
3. Further, a sum of Rs.1,70,000/- was paid by the first defendant to the plaintiff through Demand Draft No.647859, dated 15.12.2025, drawn at Deutsche Bank, Nungambakkam in favour of the plaintiff, which has also been acknowledged by the plaintiff.
4. Recording the terms of the above said Joint Memo of Compromise, the suit is dismissed as settled out of Court.
5. Registry is directed to refund the entire Court fee as per the Rules in force.
6. There shall be no order as to costs.
